The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm within the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the game's release, to players forming strong views on the full lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why Aries much more similar to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Stay on the friendly side of both and benefit from a strong partner; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Several past official descriptions mention their craving for sweet tree sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute royalty. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, providing an constant stream of gossip to those who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly easy to imagine Super Medicham captivating an whole open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which seems very like a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how others are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained consciousness through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to consistently think they’re right.
